AUSTIN, TX – A 22-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday night on Interstate 35. According to MyTexasDaily, the Austin Police Department responded to the accident at around 10:41 p.m. Police report that Aaron Franco was driving his 2002 Jeep Cherokee northbound on IH-35 when he lost control of his vehicle, traveled northbound on the grass median, and crashed into a concrete street light tower.
Emergency responders pronounced Franco dead at the scene of the accident. Austin police are currently investigating what led to the deadly crash, and our team will update this story if new information becomes available.
