HAYS CO., TX – At least one person died early Friday morning after a collision along the interstate just north of San Marcos, reports CBS Austin.
The incident happened around 4:47 a.m. on the southbound side of I-35 just south of Yarrington Road. This is just south of Plum Creek RV Park and northeast of Five Mile Dam Park.
Police haven’t shared any details about the circumstances of the accident except to say that it closed all southbound lanes of the interstate while emergency crews worked at the scene.
There’s no word yet on the victims, the number of vehicles involved, or the cause of the accident.
