SPICEWOOD, TX – A wrong-way crash along the highway in west-central Travis County injured three adults and three children on Monday, reports KVUE.

The incident happened just before 3:30 a.m. on the westbound side of TX-71 near Cypress Ranch Road, which is in the Tres Vistas area on the southern end of Spicewood.

Police haven’t yet discussed the cause of the collision except to say that two vehicles collided head-on.

Two adults were critically hurt, while a third adult sustained non-critical injuries.

All three kids went to Dell Children’s Hospital with non-critical injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
