AUSTIN, TX – A 45-year-old man died last Friday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident three days prior in Hyde Park, reports CBS Austin.

The accident happened around 11:09 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, at the intersection of East 45th Street and Duval Street. This is just northeast of the Elisabet Ney Museum.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the victim, identified as Gordon Yang, lost control of his bike and crashed in the intersection. There were no other vehicles involved.

Medics transported Yang to a local hospital, where he died a few days later.
