AUSTIN, TX – Emergency crews responded to a crash along a major roadway in downtown Austin on Monday morning, reports Total Traffic Austin.

The accident happened sometime around 7:50 a.m. on the eastbound side of Cesar Chavez Street at I-35, which is just north of the Rainey Street Historic District.
Police haven’t yet disclosed any details about the collision, so it’s unclear how many vehicles were involved and if anyone was hurt.
Motorists likely faced delays along Cesar Chavez in the area of the wreck while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
