AUSTIN, TX – A rush hour crash at an Oak Hill intersection resulted in a fatality Friday morning in Austin, reports KVUE.
The accident happened sometime before 8:40 a.m. on Thomas Springs Road at TX-71, which is just south of the Barton Creek Habitat Preserve.
Police haven’t shared any details about the circumstances of the wreck except to say that only one vehicle was involved.
There’s no word yet regarding the identity of the deceased.
Officials closed the highway in both directions in the area of the crash while emergency teams attended to the victim and worked to clear the scene.
