I-35 in Pflugerville was shut down at some point after midnight due to a very serious accident. Multiple sources say at least five commercial trucks were involved in an accident with several cars that were crushed and scattered about.

Three people were injured in the crash, according to the Pflugerville Fire Department. One of those people was transported by Starflight, and the other two were taken to hospitals by ambulance.

The department said in a Facebook post that Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 firefighters and paramedics responded to the crash.

All on ramps were blocked by police for about 2 miles.
