AUSTIN, TX – A cyclist sustained injuries Thursday morning when a vehicle struck them at a busy intersection in central Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The crash occurred just before noon at the intersection of Guadalupe Street and Airport Boulevard. This is northeast of campus in the Highland area.
Thus far, police haven’t shared any details about the circumstances of the accident. It’s not yet known if the driver of the vehicle involved in the wreck stopped to render aid and speak with authorities.
Medics transported the bicyclist to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious injuries.
