AUSTIN, TX – A motorcyclist sustained injuries Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on the south side of Killeen, reports Killeen Daily Herald.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. near the intersection of Elms Road and East Stan Schlueter Loop, which is south of I-14 and north of Cedar Valley Elementary School.
Police say that a motorcycle and a sedan collided near the intersection when the motorcycle operator neglected to yield right of way.
Medics airlifted the motorcycle rider to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Authorities say the motorcyclist was speeding at the time of the accident.
