AUSTIN, TX – An Austin motorcyclist was badly injured Sunday night in a two-vehicle collision along the freeway in North Austin, reports CBS Austin.
The accident happened around 9:34 p.m. on the northbound side of the Mopac Expressway near West Parmer Lane. This is just east of Balcones Youth Sports.
So far, Austin Police have shared very few details regarding the crash. They’ve not commented on the cause of the accident, nor do we know the manner in which the two vehicles impacted.
Medics transported the motorcyclist to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center in critical condition.
The other driver was not injured in the accident.
Motorists likely experienced delays along the northbound side of Mopac Sunday night while emergency teams worked at the scene.
