AUSTIN, TX – Officials reported injuries Thursday in connection to a major collision along the interstate in southeast Austin.
According to CBS Austin, the accident happened just after 12:30 p.m. on the northbound side of I-35 near Brandt Road, which is near the Southpark Meadows shopping center.
Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the cause of the crash, which they say involved four vehicles.
One person required extrication, and two people went to the hospital with serious injuries. Another three people did not require hospitalization.
A full investigation is underway.
