AUSTIN, TX – Authorities are working to identify a pedestrian who died Monday morning in a South Austin crash, reports KVUE.
The accident happened shortly before 7 a.m. on East Ben White near the intersection with US-183, which is just northwest of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Police haven’t shared any details about the vehicle involved, but they’ve also not referred to the crash as a hit-and-run.
Officials advised motorists to expect prolonged delays along Ben White in the area of the crash while emergency teams worked to clear the scene.
