LLANO CO., TX – A wrong-way collision along the highway in central Llano County killed two people last month, reports DailyTrib.Com.
The accident happened on Sunday, December 15th, along TX-71 near Llano County Road 306. This is just southeast of Llano and about 70 miles northwest of Austin.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a westbound Ford Focus entered the eastbound side of the highway and collided head-on with an eastbound Ford SUV.
Both drivers died at the scene of the wreck. Authorities identified the wrong-way driver as 27-year-old Ryan Becerra. They identified the driver of the SUV as 32-year-old JuanRaymon Rubio.
A full investigation is underway.
