AUSTIN, TX – At least one person sustained injuries Thursday in an accident along a major roadway in northeast Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The crash occurred sometime before 3:30 p.m. along Ferguson Lane near the intersection with Pleasant Road. This is just east of Cameron Road and southeast of Gus Garcia District Park.
Police haven’t yet specified the cause of the collision or the number of vehicles involved. They say that medics transported one person to an area hospital on a trauma alert.
Motorists likely encountered delays along Ferguson Lane Thursday afternoon while crews assisted the victim and worked to clear the scene.
