AUSTIN, TX – One person was injured in a rear-end accident on Tuesday morning. According to reports from the Austin Police Department, the two-vehicle collision occurred at 3296 FM 973 at around 8:23 a.m. A 61-year-old man in a 2006 white Ford was following a 2016 black Jeep too closely and rear-ended the Jeep.
The 58-year-old man in the Jeep reported possible injuries in the collision. The exact nature of those injuries are unknown at this time. Neither the driver of the Ford or any of its four occupants were injured.
