JARRELL, TX – Two commercial trucks were involved in a fatal crash in Williamson County early Tuesday morning, reports KXAN.
At least one 18-wheeler was involved in the wreck on Interstate 35 near mile marker 270 between Jarrell and Georgetown. The Texas Department of Public Safety said it was notified of the incident at about 5:40 a.m.
One person was killed, but no information was released on the identity of the victim.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said southbound lanes on I-35 were shut down, with traffic detoured at the exit to Ronald Reagan Boulevard.
