TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Emergency crews and medics were at the scene of a collision involving a school bus in Travis County on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a tweet from Austin-Travis County EMS, the incident happened in the area of Harold Green Road and South FM 973. One adult was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with injuries that were described as potentially serious. No injuries were reported among anyone on the bus.
Authorities shut down FM 973 while the wreck was being cleared, and drivers were advised to expect delays in the area. The roadway reopened shortly after 5:30 p.m.
