AUSTIN, TX – One person was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in the northeast metro area Tuesday evening.

Around 5 p.m. Austin-Travis County EMS were on the scene near 2000 East Anderson Lane. A person was struck by a car on the westbound lanes.
They were rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center and declared a trauma alert. Their condition has not yet been disclosed.
Whether the driver stayed on the scene or what led up to the crash isn’t known at this time.
