AUSTIN, TX – One person sustained serious injuries after they were hit by a driver in south Austin early Sunday morning.

According to CBS Austin, the victim was struck on West Gate Boulevard near Indio Drive around 12:40 a.m.

They were rushed to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

It’s not clear whether the driver remained on the scene or fled.
