AUSTIN, TX – One person was taken to the hospital after a fire at a motel in southeast Austin Thursday.
The fire broke out around 2 a.m. at a Motel 6 on 2707 South Interstate 35 Service Road prompting evacuations, reports KXAN.
One of the guests at the motel suffered from smoke inhalation and was taken to an area hospital to be treated.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
