TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – One person died and three others were injured after a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Travis County on Thursday.
According to KXAN, the crash happened on State Highway 130 at FM 973, just east of Walter Long Metropolitan Park. Two vehicles crashed and caught fire following the impact.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two people were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious injuries. Another person was declared a trauma alert and taken to St. David’s South.
No details on the events leading up to the fatal collision were immediately shared.
