AUSTIN, TX – Investigators released the identity of the woman killed in a hit-and-run on I-35 in south Austin on April 28th.

According to CBS Austin, 42-year-old Pauline Juro was attempting to cross the interstate near Ben White Boulevard when she was hit by an unspecified vehicle.

Juro was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver continued down the freeway without stopping.

The driver’s identity remains unclear at this time.

This incident is the 33rd fatal crash to occur in Austin in 2022.
