AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was found dead after being struck by a vehicle  along US-183 in Northeast Austin on Sunday afternoon.

According to a report by CBS Austin, the victim’s body was found lying in the southbound lanes of the freeway near Cameron Road shortly after 4 p.m.

Few details about the crash, including the identity of the victim, are available at this time. However, the investigation is still developing.
