AUSTIN, TX – A multi-vehicle crash in north Austin on Wednesday claimed the life of a pedestrian who was standing nearby, KXAN reports.

Police say the driver of a commercial heading north on Lamar Boulevard collided with a truck heading west on Rundburg Lane at about 3:10 a.m.

The impact caused the van to be pushed into a nearby bus stop, where hit struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian died from injuries sustained din the wreck. No additional injuries were reported as a result.
