DEL VALLE, TX – One person was hospitalized after a car and bicycle collided in Del Valle on Wednesday morning, CBS Austin reports.

Police say the accident happened on Pearce Lane near Timber Creek around 6:31 a.m.

Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene. They transported one adult with serious injuries to St. David’s Medical Center in South Austin. EMS says they expect the victim to survive the collision.
