AUSTIN, TX – A female motorcyclist died Saturday when she collided with a semi on I-35 southbound in South Austin and was then struck by additional cars, CBS Austin reports.
Police say the accident happened around 2:23 a.m. on the southbound side of I-35 near St. Edwards University. They believe that a tractor-trailer struck the 20-something biker on S I-35, throwing her from the motorcycle. At that time, at least two other vehicles ran over the motorcyclist.
The biker died at the scene of the collision.
No other injuries have been reported as a result of the crash, but authorities are still investigating the incident.
