AUSTIN, TX – Four people went to the hospital after a North Austin collision involving twelve people total and multiple vehicles, including a semi-truck.
CBS Austin reports that the incident happened around 8:25 a.m. on the southbound side of North Interstate Highway 35 just south of Yager Lane and Tech Ridge Boulevard.
The circumstances of the crash are unclear, but emergency crews say they took four people to the hospital, three of whom were classified as trauma alerts. Four other people were unhurt in the crash, and another four declined transport to the hospital.
Police have not commented on how many vehicles were involved in the accident apart from the 18-wheeler. The incident remains under investigation.
