AUSTIN, TX – EMS and firefighters responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash with entrapment along a highway in North Austin on Monday.

CBS Austin reports that the incident involved a Tesla and one other vehicle and happened just after noon in the 9011-9099 block of Research Boulevard.

Officials say that one of the people involved in the accident became entrapped in their Tesla and had to be freed by firefighters. That person and one other were transported to local hospitals with trauma alerts.
