AUSTIN, TX – Police continue to look for the driver of dark four-door sedan that struck and seriously injured two pedestrians in Austin on July 16th, Fox 7 Austin reports.
The incident happened around midnight at the intersection of Lavaca Street and West Cesar Chavez Street.
Camera footage shows two people walking in the crosswalk at the intersection as a sedan turns left and hits them before fleeing north on Lavaca Street.
The two pedestrians were seriously hurt, and medics transported them to the hospital for treatment.
Anyone with information to share about the vehicle or driver is encouraged to contact the Austin Police Department. Authorities say the car may have a disabled placard hanging in the window.
