AUSTIN, TX – A motorcyclist went to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after colliding with another vehicle on the interstate in Austin Tuesday, reports CBS Austin.

Austin-Travis County EMS says the incident happened in the downtown area around 11:23 p.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 35 near East Cesar Chavez Street.

Medics transported the motorcyclist as a trauma alert to Dell Seton Medical Center.
