ROUND ROCK, TX – One person died late Monday morning after two vehicles collided on a busy roadway in Round Rock, KXAN reports.

Authorities say the incident happened just after 10:15 a.m. on Louis Henna Boulevard near A.W. Grimes Boulevard, which is east of I-35 and south of State Highway 45.

It is unclear how the crash happened, but Round Rock Police say that a van and a sedan were involved.

One person died in the wreck, and medics transported a second person to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

The eastbound lanes of Louis Henna Boulevard near the crash as well as the intersection of A.W. Grimes were closed for about three hours while crews responded to the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
