AUSTIN, TX – A man died early Thursday morning after a collision threw him from his motorcycle on a flyover ramp in South Austin, reports KXAN.
The incident happened just before 1:15 a.m. on the ramp from I-35 northbound to the eastbound side of East Ben White Boulevard, or US-290.
The circumstances of the crash are still unclear, but police say the motorcyclist died at the scene after falling from the flyover.
Austin-Travis County EMS initially indicated that a second vehicle may have been involved in the crash. Police have not confirmed that statement.
A full investigation of the incident is underway.
