KILLEEN, TX – A 63-year-old motorcyclist died last Friday morning when his vehicle crashed along a roadway in southeast Killeen, reports Killeen Daily Herald.

Police say the incident happened at 8:05 a.m. near the intersection of Lakeview Drive and Bear Branch Road, which is just west of Lakeside Park in Salado.

The investigation indicates that a southbound 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle veered from the roadway near Bear Branch Road and crashed.

The victim, identified as Timothy Eugene Myers of Cedar Creek, died at the scene of the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
