GEORGETOWN, TX – A Tuesday morning collision along the interstate in Georgetown resulted in northbound lane closures while crews responded, reports KVUE.
The incident happened sometime before 8:33 a.m. on the northbound side of I-35, just past State Highway 29.
Shortly after the accident, authorities diverted northbound traffic to the frontage road via Exit 262 for Williams Drive.
Crews worked to clear the scene and re-open all northbound lanes by around 11:40 a.m.
The circumstances of the accident remain unclear, and police have not indicated whether anyone sustained injuries. We will circle back with further information if we learn more about how the crash happened.
