AUSTIN, TX – One person died, and two people went to the hospital Friday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash in Austin, reports KXAN.

Police say the incident happened just before 5:35 p.m. in the 800 block of East Riverside Drive.

Authorities have not yet disclosed how the accident happened but have said that it involved an overturned vehicle. Additionally, the force of the collision threw one person from their car.

One person died at the scene of the crash, and medics transported two other people to the hospital.

A full investigation is underway.
