AUSTIN, TX – A woman died early Friday morning after her pickup truck crashed along the service road to the interstate in North Austin, reports KVUE.

The incident happened just before 5 a.m. at the intersection of Parmer Lane and the northbound frontage road for I-35, which is just west of Tech Ridge Center.

Police aren’t sure how the crash happened but say it involved only one vehicle. Responders at the scene found a woman who had been ejected from her pickup truck and killed.

Authorities ask that anyone with information about the collision contact the Austin Police Department.
