AUSTIN, TX – A woman died Thursday night when her vehicle crashed along a busy roadway in downtown Austin, reports KXAN News.

The incident happened around 11 p.m. near the intersection of West Cesar Chavez Road and North Lamar Boulevard, which is just north of the Colorado River.

The circumstances of the crash are still unclear. Police say the driver veered from the roadway and crashed into a tree.

A full investigation is underway.
