AUSTIN, TX – One person sustained serious injuries Monday evening when a vehicle struck them along a busy roadway in south Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened sometime before 6:22 p.m. in the area of 6900 Riverside Drive, which is between I-35 and US-71.
Medics transported the pedestrian on trauma alert to Dell Seton.
It is unclear if the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash. A full investigation is underway.
