DEL VALLE, TX – One person sustained minor injuries in a multi-vehicle crash involving a Travis County police officer in Del Valle this morning, reports CBS Austin.

The incident happened around 6:24 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 71 and Kellam Road, which is just east of Southeast Metropolitan Park.

It’s unclear how the crash happened, but police say it was a three-car pileup on Highway 71.

One person suffered non-critical injuries. The police officer was not hurt in the wreck.

A full investigation is underway.
