DEL VALLE, TX – One person sustained serious injuries in a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle on Monday in Del Valle, reports CBS Austin.

The incident happened around 4:42 p.m. on the northbound side of SH 130 at the eastbound ramp to SH 71, which is just west of Southeast Metropolitan Park.

The circumstances of the crash are still unclear, but authorities say that one person went to Dell Seton Medical Center via STAR flight for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The other person involved in the accident refused treatment at the scene.

A full investigation of the wreck is underway.
