MCDADE, TX – A 24-year-old woman died, and two juveniles were hurt Tuesday when two cars collided along a roadway near Camp Swift, reports CBS Austin.
The incident happened around 9:50 p.m. on the eastbound side of FM 2336, north of Oak Cemetery Road.
The investigation indicates that a westbound 2015 Chevy Silverado pickup truck veered into the eastbound lane and collided with a 2019 Jeep Wrangler.
The driver of the Jeep died at the scene of the crash. Authorities identified her as Esther Lopez Sosa.
Medics transported two passengers from the Jeep, a 10-year-old and a 15-year-old, to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
It is unclear if the driver of the pickup truck sustained injuries.
