AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run collision that happened along a busy roadway in southeast Austin, reports CBS Austin.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. near the intersection of East Oltorf Street and Burton Drive, which is just east of I-35 and west of South Pleasant Valley Road.
The investigation indicates that a vehicle struck the pedestrian on the westbound side of East Oltorf Street.
Medics transported the victim to the hospital, where he died.
