TAYLOR, TX – Crews worked to contain a potential fuel spill when a semi-truck carrying gasoline crashed with another vehicle last Thursday in Taylor, reports CBS Austin.
The incident happened around 10:53 a.m. on Chandler Road just south of County Road 101.
The circumstances are unclear, but police say the semi-truck overturned after colliding with the second vehicle.
The fire departments from both Hutto and Taylor responded to the scene and worked to move the fuel from the overturned semi to a tanker truck.
There’s still no word on whether anyone sustained injuries in the crash. A full investigation is underway.
