AUSTIN, TX – One person went to the hospital on a trauma alert Thursday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash at a South Austin intersection, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened around 4:55 p.m. near the intersection of Circle S Road and East William Cannon Drive, which is just west of I-35.
Police have not yet commented on how the crash occurred, but they say that at least one of the vehicles overturned and an occupant became trapped inside. First responders worked to extricate that person and transported them to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious injuries.
The other three people involved in the accident refused transport to the hospital.
