AUSTIN, TX – A child died, and an adult went to the hospital Saturday with serious injuries after a vehicle struck them in north Austin, reports KVUE.
The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 900 block of North Meadows Drive, which is just west of North Lamar Boulevard and south of Kramer Lane.
Police have not yet released many details regarding the circumstances of the crash. They say the child died at the scene of the collision, and the adult went to Dell Seton.
It is unclear if the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene. A full investigation is underway.
