ROUND ROCK, TX – One woman died, and two others went to the hospital last Thursday after a wrong-way collision in Round Rock, reports CBS Austin.
The incident happened in the afternoon just west of Vista Hills Boulevard on FM 1431, which is in the Vista Oaks area.
The investigation thus far indicates that an eastbound vehicle veered into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a westbound vehicle.
The driver of the first vehicle died at the scene of the crash. Her identity has not yet been disclosed.
Two occupants from the second vehicle went to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
