KILLEEN, TX – A 28-year-old dirt bike operator died after his motorbike struck a vehicle along a busy roadway in Killeen on Saturday, reports KWTX 10.
The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. near the intersection of Westcliff Road and Moonlight Drive, which is just northeast of Long Branch Park.
The investigation indicates that an eastbound motorcycle struck a westbound vehicle as the second vehicle attempted to turn left from Westcliff Road onto Moonlight Drive.
The force of the collision threw the motorcyclist from his bike, and he died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities identified the victim as Lamar Levance Lilly.
No other injuries have been reported in connection to the crash, and the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.
