TRAVIS CO., TX – One person died, and two others were hospitalized Saturday after two cars collided along a highway near New Sweden and Coupland, reports KVUE.

The incident happened just before 4 p.m. near the intersection of North FM 973 and Brita Olson, which is north of Manor and east of Pflugerville.

It’s still unclear how the accident happened, but police say one person died at the scene, and another was airlifted to Dell Seton with serious injuries. Medics transported a third patient to St. David’s in Round Rock with non-critical injuries.
