AUSTIN, TX – One person died Wednesday morning after a motorcycle and a car collided near a busy intersection in west Austin, reports KXAN.
The incident happened around 6:46 a.m. near the intersection of FM 2222 and Bell Mountain Drive, which is just west of the West Bull Creek Greenbelt.
Police have not yet disclosed the circumstances of the accident, nor have they publicly named the person who died at the scene.
Officials closed FM 2222 in the area of the crash while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
