DEL VALLE, TX – Two people died late Monday night after an 18-wheeler collided with another vehicle along the highway in Del Valle, reports KVUE.
The incident happened around 11:20 p.m. on the westbound side of SH-71, just southeast of Garfield Public Library.
The investigation thus far indicates that two people became entrapped as a result of the crash. These two people died at the scene of the accident after medics attempted CPR. A third victim in the accident declined transport to the hospital.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the deceased, nor is there any word yet regarding the cause of the collision.
